Will the 4L60E transmission be any easy to swap with the 4L80E tranny ? has anyone tried it yet? I want to swap out the 4L60e tranny in my 1993 Gmc Sierra for the 4l80E will it be a hard swap or will the 4l80E fit perfectly? please help thanks

Will bolt right up but im not sure on the trans mounts, i changed my 4l80 out with a 60 but havent got it back in the truck yet to see if i have to move the mount or not..

Its not a direct swap. You will have to do wiring, PROM, driveshaft, cooler line & crossmember location changes. Why do you need a 4L80E? Having your 4L60E rebuilt whould be better in my opinion.
