68 Chevy Original Big Block Longbed

Thought I would share pics of a long bed I went and looked at today. Very little rust and an original 396 with tach and add on a/c. Also buddy Buckets. Asking price of $4500 was a little high for me. The original owner had installed dual saddle tanks also...

I am so tempted. Just a little out of my price range.

Looks like a really nice original truck. I'm betting it's a CST from seeing the carpet, Chrome bumper and chrome trim on the pedals. That does not look like a bad deal for the coin to me especially with buckets and tach.

Good Call..it is a CST. Wood bed also but in need of everything. the rockers and cab corners have been replaced apparently but don't think the quality is there.

WOW...nice original...almost unmolested truck. Mine has the same dealer-installed ac. It must have been a popular dealer option. In the NE that would be a smoking deal...in CA or Southern "dry" states it makes it a bit more of a challenge. I would be tempted too...nice options!

Re: 68 Chevy Original Big Block Longbed

I will probably get stomped for saying this, but I hope someone with plans for a stock resto can come up with the cash to buy it. I would hate to see a truck as scarce and unmolested as this one get rodded.

Re: 68 Chevy Original Big Block Longbed

I think the price is fair.
I think it would bring that here in Missouri.
