horn HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!
So I bought a 72 chevy c-10 that has a non 72 steering wheel on it. I have no idea what year the steering wheel is but some on the 70's board have suggested its an 80's model. I thought I would shoot over here and see if any of you 80's buffs recognize the horn and what I might need to get it to work. When I ground out the little plunger sticking out the horn does sound so I assume I'm just missing the wheels interior. Here are the pics, any ideas?

Re: horn HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!
The wrong style of horn contact is in the second photo from the top.
Where the round metal contact is sticking out, there should be a wire sticking out, that plugs onto the metal electrical tab in the third photo from the top.

Re: horn HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!
ok so if I buy the contact with the wire will I need to get a different cam? I think what they did was mounted an 80's wheel on a 70's column.

Re: horn HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!
well i decided to try a rig job just to get it inspected and hooked a wire from the button to the little plunger that is there. I stuck it back on and when I pushed the horn button I could hear the relay click under the dash but no horn. I am assuming this means my horn button is functioning so I bought a new horn at autozone and hooked it up, still no sound other than relay clicking when I push the button, any guesses?
