SOLD! 12 bolt- Narrowed- Eaton Posi- Richmond Gears
I have a 12 bolt axle that has been professionally narrowed and built with all new premium parts. The housing is narrowed 3" each side and was set up to run a 4 link on stock width 73-87 frame rails. It has a 4 series Eaton posi, with 4.10 Richmond gears.
Included are custom built Moser 30 spline axles, and Moser heavy duty bearings. Every part is brand new, mocked up with assembly grease but never used. The gears are set up and ready to run. All items are brand new, never used. Complete 12 bolt- 900.00

I wish I had something you needed Ken . Those are some nice parts.Was the rear setup by someone local in Houston? Would the custom axles all the use of stock C10 brakes if someone couldnt afford the brakes too. Also , will the brakes work on a stock 12 bolt truck rear ?

Frank- The axle housing was built by a local shop who also set up the ring and pinion. It looks to be very well done. The P/O said the shop was recommended by a buddy that builds race cars.
The Wilwood kit is designed for a stock 12 bolt, so "as far as I know" you should be able to run stock drum brakes on the narrowed housing.

Can you get me the part numbers for the rear brake kit ? A friend is just finishing his truck and asked me tonight about rear disc brake setups. I will let him know about yours .

For those that asked, the axle housing is 55" end to end, and 52 3/4" flange to flange.

The 950 price does not include shipping. I had hope to sell it close enough to home that it could be picked. I will have to weigh it in the morning and get an estimate on shipping costs.
