1972 GMC Jimmy a/c setup
sooo just acquired a 72 4x4 GMC Jimmy with what looks like a dealership installed a/c setup? anybody know if its worth anything? its complete.. this was "suposibly" a running truck 7 years ago.. any help is appreciated!!

It doesn't have any ID on the face plate, does it? If it was a MarkIV unit, you'd be seeing that logo. By the same token, if it is a GM unit, it seems that there would be some kind of ID. The "Custom Pickup" script will probably jog someone's grey matter, but I don't have a clue.
I was told that the bits and pieces of my factory-installed A/C are worth about $300. I don't know if that's your ballpark figure, or not.

cool, thanks man.. from what i can see there is no markings on any of it anywhere.. hopefully comeone can shed some light! hate to have to throw it away..

I think this is similar to the one I had on my old suburban. No one seemed interested in mine, but if yours works, you'll probably be able to get something for it.
