That’s unbelievable. A lucky day for a lot of people, including the absence of a passenger and the other vehicles that didn’t get hit with the flinging guardrail.

have seen a number o those type accidents over the years. happened alot back in the 60's that i remember, doesnt happen as often now because of design changes trying to make them safer

Ironically, if the guardrail had been turned down on the end, that wouldn't have happened...but it would have flipped the Burb and hurt/killed the driver. That's one lucky dude.

Man I would hate to foot the bill for that...crew of 8 @ $55?/hr...times as many hours as it takes for 2 guys to do all the work and 6 to b.s.

That's never good either. As somebody who works 13-14 hour days and drives home past 11pm, that's one of my biggest fears. I'll never look at guardrails on the interstate the same way again
