dual points vs. regular points
Does anyone have experience with dual points conversion kits for points distributors? I would like more rev range but don't want to go to HEI. Thanks

Dinosaur parts , even at my age I wouldn't even consider it unless you are doing a true nostalgia piece. HEI's are so simple.I'm not going to say they didn't work though. there are good and NOT real good ones .The Accel 37XXX series with upper bearing were Good. I think the idea was to allow more dwell , i remember the hot trick was to shut off one set on the top end for more top end MPH.my .02 ,DAVE

Well, you can get an HEI out of a junk yard for about 15 to 40 bucks, and a set of plug wires for 30 for decent name brand stuff...I guess it does add up, but you'll never look back if you do it.
