questions about a 1971 cab and 1968 cab
questions about a 1971 cab and 1968 cab. im putting a 1968 cab on my 1971 and putting my 1971 vin in it and need to change part of the firewall out do they make this patch for the drivers side?
the red cab is the 1968 the blue cab is my friends 1970

That patch is not available, but there are fire wall replacements if you want to smooth our the fire wall completely, but if you are trying to retain the stock appearance and locations you will have to find a donor truck to replace this panel, or cut it from your old cab.

you can probably find one of the threads in the FS sale with cabs for patch panels and get them or search craigslist locally for people with these trucks who might have a junk cab who would sell you that patch cheap....

The firewalls are sold by vendors like Brothers. I bought one to convert a 68 cab. I cut it up to make patch panels for the parking brake and the a/c holes, since that was hacked by the po.
