trim tags
Hello.
I just decoded my vin.. 4by2 v8 1/2ton/ 71 do these trucks have trim tags and is so where.. my a body it's on the drivers side cowl.. thanks Last edited by stich626; 10-31-2010 at 02:55 PM. |

Closest thing to a trim tag is the SPID sticker inside the glovebox. Hopefully it's still there. Sharpie

no trim tags on pickups. The VIN and the SPID are all you have.

thee is a vin and model number decode link on the main page... it'll take you hare http://67-72chevytrucks.com/Chevyear.html
It is pretty acurate. Missing a little info, but it works for 90% of the trucks on this site (except the added digit on a 72, and also leaves out the GMC guys) |
