trim tags

Hello.
I just decoded my vin..
4by2 v8 1/2ton/ 71
do these trucks have trim tags and is so where..
my a body it's on the drivers side cowl..

Closest thing to a trim tag is the SPID sticker inside the glovebox. Hopefully it's still there. Sharpie

no trim tags on pickups. The VIN and the SPID are all you have.

It is pretty acurate. Missing a little info, but it works for 90% of the trucks on this site (except the added digit on a 72, and also leaves out the GMC guys)
