Grille remove help 69 gmc truck

Having hard time to remove the grille

Do I ned to remove the bumper?

took everthing else so far and still stuck..

any ideas or pictures to how ?

You dont have to remove the bumper though it is easier to take the grill off with it off.

To remove the grill you first have to remove the eyebrows. The have studs on them with emblem nuts on the backside. I'm pretty sure you can see them if you pop the hood and look behind them. (fender moldings).



Then you can remove the grill I done my best to show you where the bolts are in this pic. The red dot in the bottom middle of the grill is the grill support bolt which is on the bottom of the support. The rest of the bolts you can find easy when you pop the hood and look where the grill meets the fender. The bottom grill bolts are also easier to see with the bumper off.




Hope this helps, nice truck by the way, I plan on painting mine almost that same color. Oh and welcome to the board.
