Radiator Support Question
Hi guys. I'm going to put a 67 Chevy front clip on my 71 Chevy. The 67 radiator support I have is rusted out and my 71 radiator support is in pretty good shape. Can someone tell me what the differences are between the two? In just eyeballing them side by side I don't see any differences other than the mounting hardware (bushings, etc.) Can the 71 support be used with the 67 fenders and hood?
Thanks! |

Re: Radiator Support Question
The 67 should have headlights directly mounted on the support and the 71 has extra buckets welded on to hold the headlights. It is possible to convert a 71 to a 67 with some work. I have a thread somewhere that shows how I did it......

Re: Radiator Support Question
Gosh, I didn't even compare the fronts, was just looking at the back sides of the supports. I can definitely see the difference between the two as far as how the headlights mount. Thanks for the info!
