Cool fuel filler door

I was driving home from work today and saw this truck cruising down the road. I think it was a 68-69, shortbed. It sounded pretty good and had a nice white/blue paint job. But what really caught my eye was the fuel filler door. Sorry it's not a better pic, the camera phone can only do so much

Re: Cool fuel filler door

Slick but that would require building a sealed box inside the cab to keep any gas fumes out of the cab when you filled the tank. That box would also need a drain hose going down and through the floorboard to work right.

I passed the guy again today on the way home, I'm going to try and get him to pull over tomorrow so I can check it out.

It would be nice to see a picture of that door open. Chase the guy down and get some pictures! See what other cool mods he may have done!
