My new SQUARE BODY!!!
Well, after wanting one of these since before I could drive, I finally got one today. Its a 1980 K20 that originally had a 400, but was swapped out for a 350 crate engine that has less than 10,000 miles on it. I bought it from a kid who got it when he was 14, and drove it less than 200 miles in the 2 years he had it. Its got the granny + 3 manual trans, locking hubs, a 6 inch procomp lift and 35" BFG AT's. I'm in love

Re: My new SQUARE BODY!!!
Thanks alot guys. I'm so stoked to finally have a truck to post on this site, which is awesome i might add. I'll also add that all your trucks are great looking too. I can't get enough of them, which is interfering my school HA. Question: if this was your truck, what would you do to it?? I need some ideas...

Re: My new SQUARE BODY!!!
if it was mine.....youd prob never see me out of it lol id live in that thing!
other than that id prob ditch the crome around the wheel wells (im just not a huge crome person) and add me a roll bar in the back with some lights on it, add some tint(nothing crazy but a lil makes a big dif) maybe mix up the color on the interior specifically the gauge cluster and pannel across the dash maybe through some new autometers in it. but hey thats just me man. either way you got an awesome looking truck wish my first square body would have been in this good of shape. mine was a 78 with no floor and most of the cab rusted out. lol

Re: My new SQUARE BODY!!!
HAHAHA, well I feel that I got pretty lucky with this one. I have been on craigslist and ebay for hours everyday for the past 3 years so0o I definitely put some time into finding it. Lol. I agree about the chrome, I just cant tell if i like it or not, and i'll have to look into the tint. New white gauges are definitely a must, including a tach in place of the fuel gauge. Also gotta take that grey gauge trim piece off, I dont like it. Thanks for all the compliments and suggestions. can't wait to start wrenchin!

How much would you want for the gray gauge bezel overlay?

Re: My new SQUARE BODY!!!
Would you want the matching piece over on the passenger side of the dash? Hopefully I'll get to do some wrenchin this weekend and I'll pull it off and make sure that I don't want it. Right now it kinda depends on what looks best. I'll let you know tho.
