LT headers on 4x4 clearance
Was just wondering what the clearance should be on the passenger side long tube header and the front driveshaft. Im running headers from an early 90 model and just sat my driveshaft in there and its close. I will bolt it in tomorrow but just wanted to see if that is normal for the LT's. Any pics for anyone?

Re: LT headers on 4x4 clearance
we had a set on an 86, no pics down close but I don't remember it being close at all. being from a 90's truck may be the problem since they usually have a ds driveshaft, I know my 88 does.

Re: LT headers on 4x4 clearance
well as I had said 90's headers on your 80's truck is probably the biggest problem.

Re: LT headers on 4x4 clearance
I just ordered some headers for my 86 4x4. I should be able to post pictures of the underside Friday.
