What Mirrors ?

Hey everyone
What mirrors are people using on the trucks when rodding them. I have seen a few pics that look like the mirrors could be mid 80's Monty Carlo mirrors. that is kind of the look of a mirror I am planning on using. Any comments would be great !

I'm not sure exactly what the monte carlo mirrors look like, but round or oval ones from Billet Specialties are very nice and good quality. If you're looking for something less expensive, check out some swan style mirrors made by many different companies. Thats what I have on mine.

I assume your looking toward a more sleek/ updated look for the mirror. I've been looking into the same type of mod as I'm not into the chrome stick & mirror look of whats out there, some look pretty good but it looks too much like an after thought IMO.
I haven't tried the parts on myself or can find any pics on the internet but have heared that corvette, camaro, firebird or monte carlo mirrors from the late 70's or 80's look good and seem to be a subtle custom mod. If you do go that route before i get around to it, I'd love to see some pics and see for myself.
