Re: Chevrolet wire wheels?

I thought the Chevy wheels were 6-lug.I have a set that are.I believe they went to 5-lug later. What is the pattern (measurement) on those?

Re: Chevrolet wire wheels?

I don't recall seeing any Chevys that old which had 5 hole wheels. To find the bolt circle diameter, measure the center distance between two adjacent holes and multply by 1.7.

Re: Chevrolet wire wheels?

Hi all I think the 5 on 4 1/2 or 4 1/4 should be for dodge or plymouth. All the 30s chevys I have seen are 6 lug both car and 1/2ton pickups. the ones in the photo above look like the 5 on 5.5 from the fords

Re: Chevrolet wire wheels?

36 and earlier are 5 lug. They aren't the 4 3/4 pattern though.
