Re: 60-66 sticker

I asked the same question on post #202 of the attached “ask the staff” thread:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=402568&page=9

A few members commented, but apparently it didn’t generate any enthusiasm with the staff. If a 60-66 decal existed my truck would be wearing one.

Re: 60-66 sticker

Maybe we could have a contest where people present their ideas for a sticker design and we could vote for our favorite...

Re: 60-66 sticker

I think this was tee shirt art (yeah I stole it). Always like'd it, and I apologize to who ever drew it originally... Kinda simple, but so am I.

Mine would also.... But, I'm not getting into a copyright battle. Unless someone knows who drew this, and gets permission from them. I'm not messing with it! (well, anymore than i have...)

Re: 60-66 sticker

I'm all in for a sticker. I don't have the artistic touch to design one myself (let alone the computer know-how), but I would gladly fly which ever design we could get going. I do like the one Fryco posted, and the other idea of a similar design to the top of page logo with our truck instead sits equally well.

suzq044 was the artist behind it. She had several different ones that she had done.

The name of the thread this rendering came from was ("Chevy/GMC Only" .. illustration) from back in '08.

Re: 60-66 sticker

Count me in also. If I remember correctly she made three different stickers. One for a regular cab, one for a four door(like Dino's green truck), and one for a suburban.

who reads that forum. I bet 90% of the 60-66 crowd dose not even go there. I know I don't.

Re: 60-66 sticker

I think it would be a good idea, but it might confuse some people that it is a depiction of a 60-66 truck but it has 67-72 written on it to reflect the website. Just one of those quick glance things that would make me look twice. Then again, maybe that would help draw more attention to it....

Then just take the 67-72 logo out. I added some effect to the pic but its not necessary.

Re: 60-66 sticker

if you reversed this to black on white, and die cut all the pieces, it would look pretty rad on a back window just as it is.

Re: 60-66 sticker

You just reminded me of the suzq044 thread and all her drawings. Some of us were begging her to do one with the eye-brow hood. Now I have to go find that thread and see if she ever did.

I know she was trying to sell items with her designs on it too.

Here is the link to the thread. Lots of cool pictures and designs on there.
