Warn Winch

I have a Model 8274 Warn winch.Does anyone have a wiring diagram for it?I cant figure out how to wire it up.Thanks Tony

I was hoping to find a wire diagram with two solinoids.So i would have to get 4 from Warn for over 400.Can i use any other type solinoids?

you can use a ferd remote starter solenoid. thay will handle the load.

You need more than 2 solenoids unless they are double pole. This is assuming you have to reverse the motor (or does it just freespool out?) How many amps? Check Surplus center website (lincoln nebraska one) or Bailey Sales. 400 is ridiculous. I'm wiring up a winch now with some solenoids i have. There just basic single pole ones (so I need 4). My dad saved a bunch from a scrap pile. I built my winch myself. Maybe I'll make a thread about it in a tool forum.

How would i do the battery?I was thinking about putting it under the hood.How do i wire a second battery?So it will charge?
