Re: this is nice ebay truck

$18,000 is the best bargain I've seen on Ebay. That's a real fine truck. We've seen this one before and it's been the topic of conversation. It's the early body with '90s suspension and drivetrain.

Re: this is nice ebay truck

Great looking truck and I agree with Special- K in that based on what it would cost to put that baby together, it's resonable. A little too much lift for me - pretty severe angles on the axle joints. Wish it could sit in my garage.

Re: this is nice ebay truck

I think that truck is or used to be owned by a member of this board, as I recall I think it was for sale as a project. Needed finishing but the the major work was done- wanted it then..and still want it now!

That is wild. $18k seems like a steal if you take into account the labor that went in to that truck.

To all those who have asked about this, here's a fine example of a 67-72 mounted on a 88-98 frame.

oops link in first post.....dough. Only negative I see is the limited leg room in the rear due to the over sized seats. Love the truck though!!

Awesome truck! I remember seeing it on ebay awhile back. I love the suicide rear doors and the tahoe/suburban seats, I have the same ones in my tahoe.

I've always liked that truck...only thing I would do is put a stock 72 grille in it.

Re: this is nice ebay truck

IIRC that truck was built, or at least parts of it finished, by Sean and Rick of Rick's Trucks or something like that. It certainly is a beautiful truck.
