als liner temperature requirements
I looked on the box, instructions, and online and could not find anywhere if there was a temperature requirement for spraying als liner. I am wanting to spray in my garage this saturday or sunday and dont want to waste my time if its not gonna set up right.
It is in the mid teens to 20s right now with snow on the ground. I have a propane heater, but am worried about the fumes in the air, so I would prefer to do it with the garage door opened.

Re: als liner temperature requirements
It is a 3 part mixture, so I figured it would just take longer to dry? I did send an email to them as well.

Re: als liner temperature requirements
IMO... im thinking WAY to cold and i agree with the fumes statment... also im guessing just like other spray in bedliners that you want VENTILATION and LOTS OF IT... i really dont think you want to be breathing the fumes...... wait till ya got a clear day you can open the garage.

Re: als liner temperature requirements
You can use most roll on, or spray on bed liners down to just above
freezing. The problem is, Most are Xylene based, Or something similar. Which are highly explosive, With a relatively low flashpoint. So I would wait for better weather. Spike

Re: als liner temperature requirements
Most paints work best at 70*, I'd wait until spring.

Re: als liner temperature requirements
I just wanted to update this thread for anyone searching in the future.
I just recieved this email back from my Al's Dealer: "It is good if you keep the product at room temp overnite and you will have no problem spraying it in your garage. Use the propane heater to warm up the vehicle a bit. It will lay smoother in the colder temps." So I will update this thread again when I get it sprayed on this sunday.
