Are those made specifically for 73-80's? Post a link to the website you're finding em on.

Re: halo headlights??
unless you ride around with your park lights on in the dark noone will ever see them.have them on my 87 and you can only see them on low beam cause the bottom headlights cut off on low beam(4 headlights).but since roundeyes are always on noone will see them.i bought mine for the t4 bulbs and hid swap.you cant see the halos with the lights on is what im sayin

Re: halo headlights??
youll have to wire them on a switch.i had them hooked to headlight power cause when i hooked them to the parking lights they blinked with the turn signals.they can be seen but only around sunset.i just hooked them up to show you.i paid 120 for all four housings and hids for the top.well worth it as i can see now.

Re: halo headlights??
Are these style of lights very much brighter than a standard sealed beam head light bulb? I'm curious and don't want to have to purchase 2 sets of bulbs. Thanks.

Re: halo headlights??
the lights i have are hid which is more like a florescent light.as in there is no filament just gas and a ballast.definately worth the money.you buy the headlight housing for h4 bulbs then get an h4 hid kit.or get a complete conversion kit off ebay .then you can see.

Re: halo headlights??
Running hids in a housing not designed for it will blind everyone on the road with you.

Re: halo headlights??
i want projector lights like the ones just advertised but i cant stand the way it ruins the look of the vehicle. im sure its a great product but looking at that old c10 with the projectors just makes the truck seem like it has an identity crisis. cant decide it it wants to be old or new.
i bought the more expensive factory sealed silvanya headlights and they do amazingly well for a updated version of 40 year old lights. also make sure all your grounds are good and clean switch wires are tight. that will help alot as well.

It's definitely tough to choose between the performance of real projectors and preserving the stock appearance. For some people, however, being able to see at night or in low light conditions makes it worth the visual trade-off. You're also not going to be blinding anybody else on the road (unless you want to with our highs). That picture of the truck above has the Chrome V2's which has the bigger projector. It's a little less subtle. Our Chrome V1's is what many purists get since it has our smallest projector, preserving as much of the stock appearance as possible but still having the performance of a real projector. I've included a link here for anybody's convenience Either way, inadequate lighting from stock sealed beams a common complaint from many classic car owners and we're trying our best to provide a practical and stylish solution for everyone, everywhere! In case anyone is interested, we're actually having a Memorial Day Sale (use code "MEMDAY20") for 20% (almost $100) off any V2 headlight kits! |

Buy LED. Direct plug and play. No relays no running extra wire.
