Removal of chrome trim
Hello,
Im looking for advice on the easiest way to remove the chrome trim that runs behind the cab on a 72 C10. I would like to remove it without killing it if possible! ![]() Any help much appreciated. -Mike ![]() |

If you are referring to the trim that separates two tone paint then it is fairly easy to remove. The chrome snaps onto plastic clips which are fastened to the cab. Spraying the trim down so as to wet the clips with a penetrant helps the removal process. In removing the trim, I press down on the top of the chrome and lift up on the bottom using a putty blade or similiar flat blade.
