A Question about aftermarket wheels

I have a 72 C20 with a Dana rear and Discs up front.
Right now I have the stock steel wheels 16"

I've been looking at slotted aluminum rims 16.5" with a 9.75" rim width.
Not sure of the offset..

My question is, will I run into any clearance problems using these rims?

Re: A Question about aftermarket wheels

Maybe I should clarify the question...
Will I have inside clearance issues with the added width of the rim.
Will it clear things like the linkage, the sway bar.. etc.

I can't help on the width issue, but you might want to get some prices on 16.5" tires. They are pretty spendy.

I think those will work fine out back, cutting it close on front. Figure backspacing should not exceed 4.5". You should be able to find out the backspacing / offset by going to the manufacturer website.

If I were you, I'd forget the 16.5" and stay at 16 or go to 17's.
