stooooopid question, I know. I have those exact mounts now going on my 350. I know, stupid question. Does the rubber side go toward the block or toward the frame mount?

Steel towards engine block.
in the pic above, the mount should look like the one on the left when bolted to your engine. In other words, it's the side you should see. The pic on the right is the side the block should mount to.
