Ground strap?

Where is the braided metal ground strap (behind the driver side cylinder head, from the firewall) supposed to ground to? I remember it being hooked up somewhere prior to my new motor being put in. Thanks.

I know one went to the frame. I think at the motor mount but could be put anywhere you can put a screw/bolt in.

Re: Ground strap?

Much appreciated, I favorited that thread. It's the short one that goes to the valve cover

I didn't like the idea of grounding to the valve cover, so I moved it to a bolt on the back of the block.
