under dash wiring..auto/manual trans whats the differences
my 70 was a manual from the factory and i switching to a powerglide. what or is the difference in the dash wiring harness? will there be connections i need and dont have, or vice versa? i will be using a factory auto column.

When I switched my 70 Burb from 4 speed manual to auto I needed to wire up the neutral safety/backup light switch on the auto column I put in. On the 4 spd. the backup light switch was on the transmission and there was no neutral safety switch.

Also, manual trans trucks do not have the fiber optic for the PRNDL. Those are about all I can think of.
