Adaptor plate question

Hey everyone, my quadrajet took a dump on me and since its my DD I need to be back on the road quickly while I rebuild the QJ. My Uncle is giving me a edelbrock 1406 to use in the meantime and I was wondering if this is the adaptor I needed to bolt it to my stock intake. Thanks for replies.

Re: Adaptor plate question

yep wish you where closer I have 2 or 3 I'd give yea.....just use cation on removing the fuel line so you can reuse it.....truth be told unless you Q jet is complete junk you can take your time and rebuild it in an hour and half or so

Re: Adaptor plate question

Thanks, just making sure I had the right adapter. I am going to do a quality rebuild/modify my original quadrajet for my new crate motor in january. Just trying to get back and forth to work till then haha. They wanted 32 bucks for the edelbrock plate at checker auto so I think ill order this one if it works. If anyone has any opinions or experience with these lemme know thanks.
