Thumbs up experience with Early Classic

Yesterday at 8:00AM I ordered 2 spring retainers for where the coil spring meets the frame. Total cost: $9.00 apiece, so $18.00. For shipping, standard 5-8 days shipping was going to cost me about $15.00. Ok, so fine. That's more than I wanted to pay shipping-wise, but whatever.

I came in from work at 4:00PM, and get a call from Mike from Early Classic. He saw my order, saw the size of the spring retainers and decided to send them via standard mail, saving me $12.00 and getting them here 3 days sooner. Is that great customer service or what? Needless to say, I was very impressed, and will be using Early Classic in the future.

Yup...they are really good. Stan, at ECE, designed a bent track bar to clear my differential cover.

I just recieved their trans crossmember...really a beautiful piece of work and very complete with hardware and good, practical installation instructions.

Yep...I tend to compare my lists of parts I need to order with what ECE sells, so I can order those parts from them because of their service.

WHy are they the only place that sell 6" drop rear coils? "Brothers trucks shop " in corona are not to far from but they only have 5" and same with "Truck shop" in orange. But back to the subject Early Classics is great service.

I've never bought anything from them, but I did call them a few weeks ago for some info on there disc brake conversion. I think I talked to Stan, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. That made up my mind that when I have a little more $$ after the Christmas season, they are who I'm buying from.

Stan/Mark/Jeff don't know mike but if he is with this group of people he's another good one! have ordered thousands of dollars worth of stuff (three trucks) and the customer service is second to non!! trust me on this ! (not just a parts source) friends, try them once and they will take care of you! anytime I need parts for our trucks first call is to stan/mark! in this down economy we need to take care of companies who, take care of us& they do. cheers, Pat

I wish they could get a little better shipping rates. I want the 4/6 drop kit but its going to cost about $150 to ship it to Missouri.

Are they the ones with the Hidden Hitch ? I have tried to find a supplier on the east coast but without any luck. If they have it I will try them after hearing how good their service is .

I couldn't be happier with my ece suspension and brakes...

They treated me like an old friend when I placed my order.

GREAT customer service and even better products. ONLY company that'll ever get my money for what they provide........PERIOD!

I bought some springs from Early Classic and worked with Mike. He is a Class act and highly recommended.

Ordered from them several times. The last time was for a 4/6 drop kit.
One hour after placing the order online I got a call from ece with an updated
info on my order. Didn't expect that. Parts are top quality, customer service
is superb. Highly recommend them.

It's not ECE's fault.
Shipping right now is high.
I shipped a 81-87 dash pad, in a light weight box from Missouri to Maryland, and it cost me $75.87.

Shipping heavy boxes from the west coast is expensive.
(still worth it to get ECE parts!)

Right on... I needed springs like in two days...Mike was out but he called his outlets until he found a set (BB Springs). Shipping was as much as the springs because they came from Ca.

Yep,... I use to think "overnight" or "next day" shipping was high,... but I only ship the cheapest rate possible, and it's still crazy.
ECE has always got me the correct parts the first time.

I really wish Stan or Mark would join the board,...

Been there, done that,... it costs to play in this game.

It's all apart of it any more.

As many others have already mentioned.... ECE is the only way to go IMO.
