4L60E bit the dust!

My driver tranny has went on to better places - overheating, boiling fluid out the vent tube...not good stuff here. Anybody else have problems with these trannys?

Take it to Clay at AHA in your town. He did a good job on my 4L80, and I thought was reasonable

Now you tell me! I went ahead an took it up to a friend that works at a local GM dealership. Cost a bit more but for a brand new tranny with 3yr/50,000 warrenty I figured it was worth it. I plan on keeping the truck for a while so this was another reason I went the route I did.
