got my frame work finished and man does it lay out. i like it! now if i just had some money to get bags and the front end done.

Do you have close-ups of frame off-set and the "c" notch? That looks very interesting. Did you channel the bed to get it to line up with the cab? It looks like you offset the rear section of the frame...is that correct? Looks like you are really making some progress there!

where are the bags going. i would try to stay away from over the axle. mine will be redone soon. but i just cant seem to get this damn grille put in. btw nice work

the notch is prabably a 6 or 7 inch notch but im not exactly sure without measuring it. the rear of my frame has been lowered 3 inches because i did a 3 inch body drop and this way i could leave my bed floor stock behind the cutout for my notch. ill have to raise the front up 3 inches though.
lotik why is mounthing them over the axle a bad idea. i was thinking about putting my bags there but the only problem i could see was that you would lose a few inches of drop. but if its not a good idea ill build me some bag mounts on the trailing arms. i think putting them farther front would give me a better ride and more lift anyways.

i have no problem with drop in the rear, but the lift is pathetic. it doesn't clear the tires unless i have 90psi, which is gonna be way to stiff. i'm going to mount mine trailing arm to frame, better lift. but dont go to far up or you will lose some ride quality.

On the core support you cut it just behind the rad support and drop 3" and box in. At least that is how I have always seen it done. You guys are KILLIN me. I might have to do a body drop after all. With the rockers 3" off the ground just seems to high now. LOL:p

coooool...why didn't you switch to leaf springs...you obviously have the welding know how. Aren't those trailing arms just taking up space??? Not that it matters I guess cause you aint got no space under there.

well leaf springs would be to much trouble to me and the trailing arms are good traction bars so i dont wanna change them now. later on down the road i might go with a 4-link when i get the money
