Front end 73-87 swap for a 69 chevy, is it worth it???

I have a 69 chevy c20 that im looking to swap out to a 5 lug and im wondering is it really worth it to look for a newer front end instead of one that will just bolt up, i have a couple of front ends from this erra of trucks that i could use but wanted to get info before i do anything.
Thanks

YES, cheaper parts........the only reason to change the crossmember is so you can drop the oil pan easier otherwise use the 69 crossmember bolt the later model 5 lug stuff complete.

The 73-87 complete crossmember will bolt up. You will have to elongate two holes on each side but thats it. Well worth the time!
