Polished Instrument Bezel
Just recieved this back from the polisher today, I thought they did a great job! If anyone else is wanting to have their bezel polished let me know and I will give you the info. Thought it was a good deal for 40.00 plus ride.

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
That's cool, looks like chrome.
Did you protect it in any way from corrosion(polish, wax, clearcoat etc) or does it not have to be protected? |

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
I will just put the info here for everyone to see. The company that polished this is called Arkansas Polishing. They can polish almost anything. Their phone number is 479-325-0912 ask for Isaac, He is a real nice guy and seems to really take care of business.

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
Gulffishin, all it has on it now is polish, but like all aluminum I'm certain it will need periodic attension, just like billet wheels. I've never had one polished before so I really don't know what to expect, wish I could be of more help. Bill

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
Has anyone polished this themselves?
I was thinking of doing the dash bezel, and possibly the heater control housing. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
I'm wondering, after having it polished if it could be powder coated in a clear coat?

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
Most of the time pot metal doesn't do well powder coating. I'm getting ready to have some done, I'll let you know.

Re: Polished Instrument Bezel
You need to get the paint off first. I used my bead blaster. Know the work starts. I started with 300 grit then 600, 1200, 2000, 2500. To finish it I used Mothers polish.
If you would like come up and use the bead blaster |
