Just got the engine in on Sunday, Pics

It took a while but the engine and transmission are rebuilt and installed. While I had them out I had some time to clean up the engine compartment. The engine got an RV cam and the deck shaved a bit. I also did some mods to the Rochester.
The TH350 trans got a five clutch pack and B&M shift kit.
I know it's not as clean as a lot of stuff I see on this forum but it's intended to to be driven in any and all conditions.
BTW...If any of you need the name of a good machine shop in the Los Angeles area, I can finally recommend one.

X2, I much prefer the look of a motor painted before assembly. Looks great. Would love to know which machine shop you used.

That really looks great. What is the gauge you have plumbed into the front of the block?

The machine shop is Martin Davidson's in Reseda.
I have used a lot of machine shops in my 30 plus years of building engines and as a lot of you know, good shops are few and far between. This guy did a fabulous job. I very carefully measured everything at least three times and the tolerances were to the tenth. Yes .0001

The gauge in front is to check oil pressure at initial start up.

I am painting the stock air filter housing and using that instead of the one at the picture.
