Re: Wiper set up for a 51 truck

On my 51 I plan on using these: http://newportwipers.com/products.ph...7-53&make_id=2
I have heard from many sources that these are the best. They bolt right up in the original location and use the original arms and wipers.
Jim Carter sells them. Check it out.

Ray we had a disscussion a week or two back about wiper motors to use,

We fried the switch we had, I talked to the electronics instructor we are going to try to build a circuit board using the same resistance as the caddy wipers and see if the can make it work

Re: Wiper set up for a 51 truck

I've got a Specialty power windows wiper kit in my 48 http://www.specialtypowerwindows.com...s.php?c=2&t=13 and while I like it there may be units that are a lot better bang for the buck now. I bought mine when they first came out with them and it was easy to install but since that time other outfits have come out with units that are less expensive and probably more simple to install.
