Re: any semi-gloss black trucks?

There's no denying it...satin black looks really good on our trucks. I've often wondered how a full trim satin black truck with the white mid-body paint would look, especially if the white was a nice pearl.
Thought about doing it to my truck but I chickened out and went with gloss black.

Re: any semi-gloss black trucks?

I am fairly new to the forum and will try to post photo of "El Diablo" my 67 short step side, big block, loaded down with options. 3/5 drop and 18" 338's with 8" on the front and the 9 1/2 on the back. We have been building on this evil truck since summer. Anyone out there ever had a truck fight them on eveything. I first called it the money pit and it still is but we changed the name to "El Diablo" as it just want give in. I'll try to post some pictures tonight. We were ready to fire up the 454 yesteday for the first time and the spark plug wires the guy got me are the wrong ones - everything has been like that. Anyone know how to exercise the demons out of my truck or at least lay hands on it.
Pictures this evening.

Thanks Steve. Any more shots...from the side? My 67 is set up almost exactly with that same drop and I am trying to figure out what size tires. I was thinking 275-45's all the way around because I don't like the really small sidewall...but the 255-45s look pretty decent as far as sidewall goes in that picture.

Re: any semi-gloss black trucks?

Yes i should have some pictures. I will try to take some this weekend. I wanted to go 295s on rear but didn't. Most people on this board are using the 245, 255, 275, 295 series but 40,s little shorter. I will post pictures asap.
