What is the best way to clean and paint a diff and frame?
How do you prep and paint a 10 bolt, leaf springs and frame.?what is the best type of paint to use?

use a wire wheel and a wire brush then spray it with tractor paint or por 15

any pics of the parts ? rustoleum if you're on a budget. oven cleaner gets a lot of grease and grime off, cheap too. just don't get it on any rubber lines. not a good pic was done with rustoleum and Dupli-Color Metalcast good luck.

sanding disc on a grinder, lots of prep and cleaning and then prime the crap out of it and bed line over that, tough and looks good i think

take it to a car wash and use simple green or something like that and spay it down the best part of this is you dont have to clean up the mess just drive off

Wire wheel and Rustoleum in the quart size so you can use it with a brush. Did this on a 14 bolt and it looked great. Durable budget minded finish.

Here is what i did it worked really really well! I used a chemical stripper ( trick i just learned is t put a bag over it to trap the chemical in keeping from evaporating)
then wiped the stripper off then right away just a wire wheel on my 4.5 grinder here are pictures Progress Primed with 2k epoxy primer Single stage black stripper appox $20 primer $40 paint $60 Total Cost $120 hope that help man! it was well worth it!
