What is the correct position for this control arm shaft?

Hi,

do these little holes on the silver shaft face inwards, up, down or outwards?

What fits in them? anything?

I forgot and my pictures I took don't really show me....

Thanks!!

there are pins in the saddles (on the crossmember) that fit into them. They face straight up.
