Extra Fuel Tank
I was curious if anyone managed to take a blazer tank, put it inbetween the frame rails than hook up that tank to the in-the-cab tank so that when you fill the cab tank, it drains back to the blazer. When that tank is full, it fills the in-the-cab tank. The engine would than pull fuel from the back tank. Anyone have any ideas?

I've had heavy equipment that worked like that, and it was a total PITA to fill.

Not quite the same thing, but many years ago I had a Dodge Maxivan (stretched) to which I added a VW Microbus tank. It fit between the frame rails, behind and at the same level as the factory tank. We plumbed a large line between the two tanks near their bottoms, and tied the vents together on top. It worked perfectly, with the VW tank giving an extra 12 or 13 gallons capacity. Fuel gauge, fill tube, and fuel lines to the pump all remained factory stock.
