what size trailer fenders?

I'm going to make some inner fenders for the front of my truck out of trailer fenders and was wondering what size to use? I can get a 32" x 10 3/4"w x 15" h will this work?

Re: what size trailer fenders?

I found that a 36" trailer fender is a better fit, it spands the entire length of the wheel well opening.. these are the ones I bought. I bought 2 of each just to be safe.

Check local farm supply stores if they have them in your area. Around here you can get them at Atwoods or Tractor Supply.

I bought the 36" ones but never got around to making them....every time I would give it a go, I would test fit them and see that the round trailer fender doesn't fit the c10's square fender.....it would work better if you had to tub the firewall for bigger wheels and tires, but I don't need to....and I also didn't want run the fender straight into the firewall.....think I'll eventually go with some slosh tub's.

Slosh seems like the way to go, do you have a VintageAir a/c system installed?

no, not yet. I was planning on getting the vintage air frontrunner pulley set up and then the a/c, but it's hard to say.

I'm worried about the hose clearance where they go into the firewall on the pass. side. It looks really tight in there, 67sheby mentioned that they'd work if I got some 90 degree hoses where they connect. I'm using the plate that came with the VintageAir system.

yeah...I've no idea...I know I want all the hoses hidden, guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it....
