I'd post a pic of the '85 I got last weekend but the freephoto-i.net or whatever makes the pic too big to post....

Heres some pics of it: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ub...ML/017883.html

Has a 305/automatic. Really nice shape for this area, no rust holes, but definitely some surface rust. Floorboards are rust-free. Its got overdrive and dual tanks.

I haven't done anything to it over the winter (no heater in the garage) but I have managed to buy LOTS of stuff to keep me busy this summer. Here is a basic run down of what I have already done...

-sandblasted, primed, painted, and reassembled the frame.
-all new PST polygraphite front end kit.
-ditched saddle tank and installed fuel cell (photos above).
-purchased 4 Weld Pro Stars.
-replaced 355 with 468...pushing 500HP.
-bought all brackets, pulleys etc for above conversion.
-bought all new motor/trans mounts

I still have to buy a few things...

-700r4
-Painless wiring kit
-head unit, amp, and rear speakers (already have component system and sub).
-sandblast body, smooth firewall/cargo light hole/stake pockets (already shaved trim, TG handle, mirrors, and emblems) and repaint it same color.

Wish me luck and let me know what you think. -Jeff
