I wonder sometimes......I have seen it, it is local to me. It is sprung in the middle, but the guy can not figure out why the gap at the fender is big. Then some one used a rear steer sub-frame (camaro?). Maybe $500.....

From what i could tell from looking at it, its the subframe that has the gap screwed up. I think the tub is fine. $1000 is definitely too much though..
