Brazing exhaust leak
I have noticed the sound of an exhaust leak under acceleration. I put my hand around the flange (longtube headers that are welded to the collector due to warped flanges) and felt the pulse of the leak on the bottom side. It is a very very small hairline crack. I will have to braze this upside down. Other than get the surface hot, what else do yall suggest?

Re: Brazing exhaust leak
Forget the brass. When welding used exhaust I've found nothing that handless the soot inside the pipe better than gas welding. Better repair faster and easier with the same equipment. Beats nonfusion globbing of most muffler shop mig welding. Also works for fusing those globs when they leak at every joint.
