Just to make sure (tires)
1968 chevy c-10 stepside
Stock tire size? When the person dropped the truck before me they put on a smaller size tire. So i looked at the faq and seen somewhere around the 225/75/15 range. I just want to make sure what would be the best size and just need to confirm this side would be good for my truck. Thomas

What size wheels are you going to use?

Re: Just to make sure (tires)
tire height will depend on how much it's lowered.
(front fenderwell clearance) I think a 225/75 (or 225/70) would be fine on a 7" wide rim. If you have a 8" rim a 235 might look better.

Re: Just to make sure (tires)
215-75-15 or 225-70-15 would be my first choice from calculations. 225-75-15 could work too.
