Re: Best Place for Cowl Hood???
I am in the same situation. I am looking for a steel cowl hood. After looking a little yesterday I found summit had a steel cowl hood on eBay that has freight included in price. So I decided to use a discount code for 15% off over $150 and with the eBay bucks I earn I will get shipping for about twenty dollars. So basically a goodmark steel bolt on cowl hood delivered to my door for close to $500. Good deal in my mind.

Since you're in Waco....what about Harwood? Aren't they in Tyler? Seems like they are located on Texas 31, east of Tyler. I know they're glass, but they make good stuff.

Re: Best Place for Cowl Hood???
I used a LMC hood on my 68. Worked out good and seemed to fit well, but I did also get some new LMC 67 fenders
