Cool stuff! I liked the 1 pc bed too, but I don't understand why they would make an longbed but not a shortbed?

That is a cool idea, I've thought of that before but I have to wonder if the fiberglass cab would line up just right with everything.

Im getting some serious ideas. Ive always wanted a 72lwb, and building a nice lowered street/track truck. Full fiber glass body... nice and light with a mild built small block and a 4 or 5 speed... yes. i think so. Im gunna be looking into this a little more.

Dang, that's a lot of peso's! It would be cool for a drag truck, but I'm betting you could cut a lot out of a steel cab to get the weight down for the cost.

Not to mention grounding Electrical stuff and on some fiberglass the solvents in the glass will eventually work it's way out and make you're paint not as shinny as it could be. Sometimes it takes a while for that to happen though. Fiberglass body for a drag truck would be cool though.

15,000 for a bare body with a heavy disclaimer? seems like 15k will still buy you a nice turn key truck. I'll stick with my crusty but dependable for the $14500. difference. but rust proof sounds great.

The doors, wheel wells and hood might be something to get into because of them being rust proof. There was a guy with a truck like ours that made his rockers, cab corners and everything else he had to fix out of fiberglass... Always thought that was a awesome idea.
