I may get a 72 K10, few questions..

So I am going to check out a 72 K10 this weekend. 350/350TH It is a longbed of course, and my question is If I get a shortbed frame, all of the running gear should swap over, right ? Besides shortening the driveshaft, what else should I anticipate for the swb conversion ? Is there any differences between the 2wd frames and 4wd frames to give me problems ? Any input is appreciated, I have not seen the truck in person so I have no pics
