Christmas Came Early!
I took the plunge and purchased the C10 Stage II front and rear kits from Porterbuilt. The UPS man delivered them today and here they are! The quality and craftsmanship of these components are next to none and Nate at Porterbuilt is a GREAT guy to work with! Would highly recommend Porterbuilt to anyone. Thanks again Nate!
Now the fun begins....

Re: Christmas Came Early!
Here's the truck it will be going on. It's a 71 factory air truck that had very little rust. The previous owner shot a coat of primer over the factory paint so it was an UGLY thing when I bought it. I will be putting a 67 front clip on it. Right now it's completely torn apart and I just had the frame blasted. Ready to start working on the suspension. I need to start a build thread I guess....

Re: Christmas Came Early!
Thanks 67cheby. I've checked out your build thread more than once in the past. You've got yourself an awesome build going there......I'm definitely envious and it's guys like you that have inspired me to hopefully build something of that caliber.

Re: Christmas Came Early!
LOL. Those cars in the background are my dad's...he stores them in my shop. You can't see them all but they are:
68 Chevelle Malibu - factory 327, 4 speed car 32 Ford Highboy 70 Chevelle SS - 396, factory air car 47 Ford Sedan 60 Corvette I'll have to get some pictures taken of them and post them for you to see. My 2 toys are a 70 Z-28/RS and a 56 Chevy sedan that my father actually built for my oldest son (WHO IS 5 YEARS OLD!). The kid doesn't know how fortunate he is just yet....

Re: Christmas Came Early!
n2billet, the stance of your truck is what sold me on the Stage 2 kit. I LOVE how your truck sits.....very nice ride by the way.

I like your start. I'm in for the build. It will be nice having another PB truck in Kansas/Missouri region. Can't wait to see your progress.

Re: Christmas Came Early!
This will be my first attempt at bagging a vehicle but I'm looking forward to it. Speaking of bags, where's a good place to get some fittings? Right now I just need something in the way of a schrader valve for the front and the back so that I'll be able to air raise and lower the frame until I buy my Accu-Air system.
