Garage Pictures????

I'm New to the site, but I can not get enough!! I have looked at ever GM truck
I think they ever made it's a awesome site, but I would like to see some pictures of the shops, garage's, barns & workshops hell even the drive way were you worked to build your dream. I think we all put as much effort into our work space and tools as our trucks??? after surfing this site I dont think I will be Let down? I want to see the Tools, Wall art, Empty Beer cans after a long night of wrenching?? I want to see it all!! Let's take a Look gentleman!!
I should have my own pictures to start off this thread? but Just thought it up and will post some if this thread is a hit?? I hope I posted in right location??

Thanks,

CORSAIR

Re: Garage Pictures????

Dig the drawer pulls. Nice garage with a loft how cool. I always wanted a shop like the one on the DanTana TV show were you drive in and a glass wall seperates the garage from the house. The Garage Journal is a cool site. Also check out the HAMB for old school hotrod stuff. Keep the pictures comming guys

Re: Garage Pictures????

Well what the heck, here's mine, not as big as I use to have, went from a four bay garage to two, but I make do with what I have now. My wife likes it too, easier to call me for dinner I currently have my truck on the side you can't see, and my bikes and other shop equipment in the back shed.

Re: Garage Pictures????

All good displays.

i have a very basic question: Where/how do you find out if putting up a large building on your land "allowed." What is the exact procedure?

Call city hall and ask them who handles building permits in your city!
Also, check with your (pardon the language) HOA if you have one.

Re: Garage Pictures????

Nice setup tys toy. I'll have to show my gf your place. She's finally fallen for the '67-72 trucks (loves the 50s more) but if she sees that bunny in your pic, she'll be heading over to help build the truck if you let her play with the bunny lol

I've got half my '54 chevy and my '72 Blazer in my 2 car garage. Just fits everything. But all the tools are at my buddy's shop in Port Kells that we use to build our vehicles. Don't have any pics though, but one day I'll get around to a 4+ car garage hopefully I've been looking at commercial shops with apartments above for sale but most aren't even legal due to Fire hazards/building code violations etc. I know a few guys with shops they live in down in PK and my buddy at the Fire Hall in PK told me he had to give them a warning to remove certain items etc or face a fine.

Re: Garage Pictures????

Not mine but actually only a few miles from where I live. I even recall it when it was originally an old welding shop. New owners to the property took it and saw it as it was and what it could be. Now it is amazing.

A lot of cool ideas to think about. He really has made this the utimate shop considering what he started with. An interesting read if nothing else. Was posted here on the forum sometime ago. Thought it deserved to be brought back since this topic resurfaced.

I've "borrowed" a couple of ideas from this garage and more from the 'garage journal'. Our attached two car 'house garage' is on the list and in the planning stages for a makeover this summer. Nice site for ideas.

Enjoy!
Mark
