Re: CL 67 Suburban - going to scrap

I hate craigslist jerks that pull this crap. MUST SELL BY XX/XX/XXXX for 900 dollars or im gonna scrap it for its weight value which is 200. why not sell it for 300 and you dont have to remove the gas tank or anything!!!!!! You still make a buck. sorry for my rant. I would buy it (if It was 300)

If someone wants to go get it for me I would buy it, but being in Afghanistan I cant really go look at it or go buy it... It would be a great start to my ideal build! Damn, this being deployed!

Re: CL 67 Suburban - going to scrap

I am not joking. Whenever some idiot makes a post "threatening" to scrap a vehicle I always tell them to go for it. No skin off my back, I do not plan on buying it.

I can store this for you if you want to buy it from him. Is there someone in Austin who can go look at it and see if it is worth what the guy is asking or see what he'd take considering a deployed Marine wants it?

Don't know anyone in Austin, and my father is North of Waco and doesn't know enough about these trucks to know what to look for. If one of you guys wants to go look at it for me and let me know the condition with better pics, I would be indebted to you forever!!!!! HINT HINT HINT

Re: CL 67 Suburban - going to scrap

I've emailed the guy and asked if he has a clear title. It's an hour drive each way for me to Austin, but if we can't get one of the Austin guys to go get pics, I'll see if I can get the guys address and go get some pictures for you.

It is we who are indebted to you and all our Service men and women for your sacrifices on our behalf.

Dfright, you the man if you can help this soldier out. As a Veteran, I remember there is nothing like being a shorty timer and knowing you have something to come home to. Hoo-ah.

Re: CL 67 Suburban - going to scrap

rep points were away from us because it causes sooooo many problems for someone???, but I digress. if we still had them to hand out, there would be some folks on here that would be getting some....

if you guys can pull this one off, I will donate some of my leftover parts stash to this project. I can and would also do a complete makeover on the gauge cluster to show my appreciation for our Soldier.

tcb: AWESOME!!!!! If it all works out, I will begin a "WEB" build so that I can show you guys the plan for the burb... I have been planning this build for the past 5 years but never found the right burb and Project heaven wasnt complete. However, due to this deployment HEAVEN will be going to paint shortly after my return. SOOOOO many good people on this forum...
