Front end rebuild?? or leave it be???
I need some advice!
My Dad used to drive this truck everyday. in 2001 he had the entire front end rebuilt and aligned. It drove like new!! The following year he parked it. Then I bought it from him so it would stay in the family and it sat ever since until 3 weeks ago when I got it out of storage. I hate to spend money and time on things that dont need the work... so should I replace all the front end rubber?? Does it go bad sitting? Thanks!

Just grease everything, being careful NOT to pop the grease boots. You won't need to replace any of the boots until they break, but when they do, replace them as soon as you can.
Rubber will deteriorate with age. |

Looking at your other post, it looks like you have the front clip off. Nows the time to powerwash the suspension, and take a good look. If they rubber isn't dried out and cracking then it is probably fine.

Mine is original with only 57k miles and 30 years. If I didn't have an extra set of contol arms with newer bushings I would't replace them.
